This Spanish Video is talking about Hispanic Muslims in the United States. I hope that all the Latinos who have a misconception about Islam will have a better understanding of my religion. This excerpt is from Telemundo. Que Disfruten….
This video is in English focusing on Hispanics converting to Islam. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did when I saw it. This post was inspired by Umm Yusuf’s post on Latino Muslims Growing in Number in the USA. Jazak Allah Khairan Sis.

As Salaamu Alaikum Sis:
Mash’Allah, I am glad that you posted this entry. Believe it or not it brought tears to my eyes. Yes, I can relate to having been Catholic and all that was said and done having once upon a time been devoted to the church.
Today, I am Alhamdulillah truly satisfied with the teachings of this complete and fulfilling religion of Islam.
On the other had, there is still ALOT of educating to do within our Hispanic community that Islam does not oppress women as it was asked by the reporter to the sister. So, there are so many things that still need to be confirmed and reconfirmed with our Spanish speaking people.
It takes a lot of informing and positive testimonies from practicng Hispanic Muslims to convince Catholics that in the end our practices are unique.
Jazak Allahu Khair
May Allah reward you for having posted this today.
Keep up the awareness.
I have enjoyed reading your blogs sis.

Something about hispanics is very interesting for me. Generally Latin American countries are very free in relationships. Spc about women, Too many single mom there. But day to day, they get to eager to know about religions spc Islam. They accept to give up that freedom(true or untrue i dont disscuss now) and come under veil(for women and men both) for they get what value of humans in Islam is. I need to say them Congratulations:)
